A fun time in Garden Grove!

JoyRide K9s hosted a nose work trial over the weekend in Garden Grove and several Agile Paws Dog Sports teams were lucky enough to make the draw.

Saturday was an NW1 and APDS was represented by two teams. Peg and Mac and Kathy and Logan. I was lucky enough to arrive just in time to watch both teams do a great on their vehicle search. They all did well, but alas it wasn’t their day to title.

Sunday was the Element Specialty with level 1 Containers in the morning, followed by level 1 Interiors in the afternoon. Catch did a nice job on his 4 container searches to earn is L1C title. Jessica and Daisy joined Catch and Tammy for Interiors. A few fun rounds of dominos with Peg made the afternoon fly. Both teams were successful and earned their L1I title.

Next up Somis. Jessica and Daisy have finally gotten into their first NW2 trial and will be competing in a few weeks. Good luck! Hope to see more teams at upcoming trials. Don’t forget to enter the upcoming ORT’s if you are interested.

Remember volunteering is a great way to learn more about the sport. Thanks to all the Agile Paws Dog Sports students that came out and helped: Carol, Luana, Marjorie and Laura. Don’t take my word for it, ask one of them next time you see them. Agile Paws Dog Sports will be hosting a trial here in Rancho Cucamonga at the end of October. If you are interested in something sooner Somis (NW2, Elite) is September 2-3 and Burbank (ESTs) is October 21-22.
