With the craziness of COVID-19 nose work trials and classes were cancelled. However, APDS was able to work through the challenge by having on-line classes then small Sniff ‘n’ Go events and then trials in late 2021. Many of my students were able to continue taking classes and were able to grow their skills. When competitions opened up again many of my students earn several titles. I am so very proud of them. Here just a small list of achievements. You can see more about my students in the “Showcase ” page.

We were so excited to be able to participate again at Read Across America at Los Amigos Elementary School. We had a total of 5 dogs and 4 Agile Paws human members participant in the event. This was the first time four of our dogs were able to participate. Ziggy was our old pro having attending several Read Across America events prior to the pandemic.
In October of 2022, we participated in the Fontana Halloween Howl. This was our first community since COVID began. There were many vendors and dogs and humans in costumes . There was a dog costume contest and we had a booth where kids were able to make doggy book marks. Our littlest and our oldest demo dog, (Teo, 5 pounds and 15 yrs old) worked his magic with children especially with a young child in a wheel chair. And he did it all dressed in a bat costume.
It was also the first community outing for our newest demo dog and family member Maya.
